From a very tender age, and with little steps but always determined to take big leaps, Gabriella discovered the world of Art and Fashion. Gabriella’s journey began by stitching her name on a small handkerchief alongside Nonna and today she has become one of Haute Couture’smost advanced students creating a variety of different garments from simple skirts to extravagant evening wear. Having enrolled at the Haute Couture Academy of Fashion, Fine Arts & Design at the age of 10, her works of art and design have been awarded numerous times throughout the six years that she has been a student at the Academy. She has been the recipient of the Student Art award, Garment Construction Award and Best Fashion Design Award.

With the guidance, mentorship and professional teachings of Joanne Dice, the academy’s ever-passionate creative director, and along-side her highly skilled and experienced instructors, Gabriella’s hunger to discover her inner passion for style and design has grown class by class. The intense and professional skills of the academy’s instructors have allowed her to strive higher than her own expectations and have given her the determination to achieve what her heart felt desires. The ability to learn in small and specialized classes has allowed Gabriella to not only develop high quality techniques but to also develop lasting friendships with like-minded individuals.

Currently in grade 11, Gabriella is working towards developing her portfolio in preparation for applying to Ryerson University’s Fashion Design Program. Always determined to achieve above and beyond the average, her studies will not halt there but will only be the mere first step towards a dream of a future abroad studying and discovering fashion in Europe.
