The fashion component of each fashion student’s portfolio is an extremely integral part of their overall university portfolio application process. Long gone are the days where universities and colleges held one-on-one private interviews with applying candidates. In today’s modern and hectic times of cut-backs and financial shortfalls, the majority of post-secondary institutions require portfolios to be mailed in a simple 9” x 12” manila envelope! Each completed fashion piece in each portfolio must be in the form of a professional photograph…after all a picture really is worth a thousand words.

Keeping in mind that the portfolio is the only obstacle which stands between each student and his or her university acceptance, we accept the serious responsibility of ensuring that each and every individual is provided with the opportunity to submit the most professional portfolio possible, and as such, we hold professional portfolio photo sessions twice yearly at various exciting and aesthetically lovely venues throughout Vaughan and the City of Toronto.

Our goal? To ensure that all student portfolios of the Haute Couture Academy of Fashion, Fine Arts & Design STAND OUT amongst all the other university and college applicants each and every year!

After so many successful years (since 1998) preparing students for the fashion and arts related programmes for North American colleges and universities, we have achieved an absolutely incredible yearly acceptance rate of 97% into the most difficult fashion post-secondary institutions in Canada and the United States. What else can we say? Our track record speaks for itself!
