Brigitte is an ambitious young lady with big dreams. From a very young age, Brigitte found that she had a serious passion for fashion and illustration. She has always had a strong desire to create new designs and this creativity was nurtured while she was growing up as she helped her grandmother to design her dresses.
At the young age of 12, she enrolled at the Haute Couture Academyof Fashion, Fine Arts & Design where she diligently enrolled in their renowned sewing, pattern making and art programmes. The school has taken Brigitte on a wonderful journey of learning where she has been able to refine her art and fashion design techniques.
Brigitte’s time at the Haute Couture Academy of Fashion, Fine Arts & Design has been an exciting one. In 2011, Brigitte was awarded the visual art award for her Prisma Colour Pencil Realism Representation of the very famous National Geographic photograph of the “Afghan refugee with the captivating eyes”.
Presently, Brigitte is one of the top students at the academy and is in the process of applying to the very prestigious Ryerson University Fashion Design and Communications programmes for the year 2013. Her attention to detail, her commitment and devotion to her art form, and her drive to complete each and every project to the best of her ability is what has led Brigitte to this exciting point in her young life.
Brigitte plans to spend the remainder of her grade 12 year studying hard and illustrating and creating her very own line of custom made clothing.
