Our philosophy here at the HAUTE COUTURE SCHOOL OF FASHION, ARTS & DESIGN, is to ensure that each student receives the individual and personal attention he or she requires in order to reach his or her full artistic and creative potential.

We are constantly encouraging our students to strive towards excellence and, to not only be artistic, but equally importantly, be creative. We do this by offering our students small, semi-private classes and by ensuring that all of our teachers are trained professionals in their fields. We take pride in the knowledge that we are the only private arts school in Vaughan that not only teaches fine arts, but specifically focuses on college/university portfolio preparation in each and every aspect of the fashion arts. More specifically, fashion design, sewing, pattern making, fashion communications, fashion advertising, and all related fine art techniques & mediums used in the fashion industry. In addition to our course selection, we offer our students a course curriculum that is constantly changing and evolving in order to keep pace with the changing requirements from the universities and colleges and to ensure that our students are continually being offered a huge spectrum of learning opportunities and possibilities.

Our students range in all levels of skill and creativity, after all, not everyone wants to become a professional designer…many people just want to learn how to design and sew for themselves so that they can have not only an amazing hobby, but an important and ever useful life skill as well. Being the only school in York Region specializing in all aspects of the fashion arts, we are proud to have students from all over Toronto and the GTA, Brampton, Richmond Hill, Thornhill and Mississauga. Because we offer programmes seven days a week, evenings and weekends, in “after rush hour” times, our students are able to come from even farther distances such as Oak Ridges, Aurora, Markham, King City, Oakville, even Ajax and Pickering, and not have to worry about getting held up in rush hour traffic. The school is conveniently located in west Woodbridge minutes from Highway 27, Highway 427, Highway 407 and Highway 7, so that driving need never be a problem.
